The euro area statistics website "Our Statistics" provides a new visualisation tool "Current Account by Main Counterparties", which presents statistics in the form of grphs with explanatory text.
The visualisation presents the main counterparties in the balance of payments current account. Users can view them for the euro area.
The data shown in the graphs are taken from the balance of payments statistics, which reflects transactions between residents of one country and the rest of the world. Balance of payments statistics of Latvia showing transactions between Latvia’s residents and the rest of the world are available in Latvijas Banka’s statistical database https://statdb.bank.lv/lb/Data.aspx?id=200&lang=en.
