Marine Krasovska is the Head of the Financial Technology Supervision Department of Latvijas Banka. She holds a Master's Degree in Finance from the University of Latvia and a professional diploma in Management from the Open University Business School (UK). She has also completed the Oxford Strategic Innovation Programme at Said Business School, and the Innovations and AI programme at INSEAD.
She gained professional experience in managerial positions at SEB bank, DNB bank and Luminor Bank. In 2020, she became the Director of the Financial Innovation Department at the Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC). Following the integration of FCMC into Latvijas Banka on 1 January 2023, she assumed her current position as Head of the Financial Technology Supervision Department.
Marine is recognised for her dynamic and proactive work within the fintech community, contributing significantly to Latvia's emergence as a fintech hub. She has also shared insights on financial innovation as guest lecturer at Riga Technical University and Riga Business School.
