On 10 June at 17.00, the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) will host an event "Green Arguments: Debating Sustainable Finance" organised by Latvijas Banka and the SSE Riga Debate Club. Sustainability experts will engage in the debate on the imperative of integrating sustainable finance into business operations and the economy.

SSERiga debates 2024


Participants of the debate: Kristīne Černaja-Mežmale, Member of the Council of Latvijas Banka; Jānis Kauliņš, partner at EY; Aija Zitcere, Director of the Financial Market Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance; Elīna Salava, Head of Sustainability at Altum; representatives of the SSE Riga Debate Club: Robin Karl Voldemar Raidmaa, Paula Enija Treilona, Kārlis Šadris and Petro Semenikhin.

The debate will take place at SSE Riga lecture room No 160 "Soros" from 17.00 to 18.30. The debate, held in English, offers an open invitation to all interested parties to join in person. Representatives from the financial sector, SSE Riga employees and students are particularly welcome. Following the conclusion of the debate, the audience will assess which participant showcased the most persuasive argumentation skills and will choose the debate winner.
