To receive Credit Register data, a person shall submit a paper-based or electronic application to Latvijas Banka in writing.

Latvijas Banka provides Credit Register data in person by prior appointment where the person has no possibility of obtaining data from the Credit Register remotely: on the Credit Register's website for electronic servicing, as a registered mail delivery or to the official electronic address.

Latvijas Banka provides data immidiately, but no later than within one business day following the receipt of a written application. This service is free of charge.

To receive Credit Register data in person:

  • a natural person or a representative of a legal person shall submit an application in writing and present a person's identity document (a passport or an identity card);
  • the custodian of a natural person shall submit an application in writing and present a person's identity document (a passport or an identity card) and a decision of the custody court on the custodian’s appointment;

  • an authorised representative of a natural person shall submit an application in writing and present a person's identity document (a passport or an identity card) and a letter of attorney, notarised or certified in an equivalent way, regarding the right to receive the Credit Register data. A notarized letter of attorney is not required where the authorised representative is a certified lawyer and a warrant has been annexed to the letter of attorney;
  • an authorised representative of a legal person shall submit an application in writing and present a person's identity document (a passport or an identity card) and a letter of attorney regarding the right to receive the Credit Register data.

On the Credit Register's website for electronic servicing https://manidati.kreg.lv (identificationusing an eSignature carrier: eSignature eIDeSignature card,eParaksts mobile or secure online banking authentication) the Credit Register data are entitled to receive:

  • a natural person about itself
  • a legal person about itself
  • a custodian or a authorides representative about another person

To recieve data about another person on the Credit Register's e-service website, a custodian or a an authorised representative shall upload the following documents regarding the right to receive the Credit Register data:

  • a custodian of the natural person – a decision of the custody court on the custodian's appointment or a copy of the decision notarised or certified in an equivalent way with a secure electronic signature;

  • an authorised representative of the natural person – a letter of attorney notarised or certified in an equivalent way with a secure electronic signature or a copy of such letter of attorney notarised or certified in an equivalent way with a secure electronic signature (a notarised letter of attorney or its copy is not required where the authorised representative is a certified lawyer and a warrant has been annexed to the letter of attorney);

  • an authorised representative of the legal person – a letter of attorney.

The Credit Register e-service website can be accessed by using:

As a direct mail delivery

(a person shall pay a postal service fee)

Latvijas Banka provides Credit Register data to a person as a registered mail delivery in any European Union or European Economic Area country.

1) To receive Credit Register data pertaining to a person as a registered mail delivery to the address in Latvia, the person shall submit:

  • a paper-based application, mailing it to the address: K. Valdemara iela 2A, Riga, LV 1050 or
  • an electronic application, e-mailing it to the address: krinfo@bank.lv.

Where a custodian or an authorised representative signs the application on behalf of the person, the following documents shall be submitted:

  • a custodian of the natural person – a decision of the custody court on the custodian's appointment or a copy of the decision notarised or certified in an equivalent way. Where the application is submitted in the form of an electronic document, the decision by the custody court shall be signed with a secure electronic signature or its copy shall be notarised or certified in an equivalent way with a secure electronic signature;

  • an authorised representative of the natural person – a letter of attorney notarised or certified in an equivalent way regarding the right to receive the Register data or a copy of such letter of attorney notarised or certified in an equivalent way. Where the application is submitted in the form of an electronic document, the letter of attorney on the right to receive the Register data or its copy shall be notarised or certified in an equivalent way with a secure electronic signature. A notarised letter of attorney or its copy is not required where the authorised representative is a certified lawyer and a warrant has been annexed to the letter of attorney;

  • an authorised representative of the natural person – a letter of attorney regarding the right to receive the Register data.

Where the Register data are to be delivered by post to another country of the European Union or European Economic Area, the authenticity of a signature on the written application shall be certified by a notary public or in an equivalent way (depending on the country where the authenticity of the signature is verified). The authenticity of the person's signature shall not be certified, if a secure digital signature has been used to sign the written application or it has been submitted via the person's official electronic address.

2) The person shall pay Latvijas Banka a postal service fee subject to the rate charged by SJCV Latvijas pasts for postal services*, transferring the above fee to Latvijas Banka settlement account No. LV51 LACB 0EUR 1750 5020 0, BIC LACBLV2X).

The person shall state under payment details:

''Postal service fee for mailing the Credit Register data on Name Surname (e.g., Jānis Kļaviņš)''.

  • EUR 1.71 (First class postal consignment (recorded letter) – EUR 1.71), where the Credit Register data are sent within the territory of Latvia
  • Postal fee according to the Latvian Postal Price List (First class postal consignment (recorded letter)), where the Credit Register data are sent outside Latvia

Latvijas Banka shall provide the Credit Register data within one business day after receiving a written application from the person and postal service fee to that effect.

To the official electronic address

In order to receive Credit Register data to the official electronic addresss (e-address), a person shall submit to Latvijas Banka a written application:

  • via official e-address;
  • in the form of an electronic document, e-mailing it to the address: krinfo@bank.lv;
  • in paper form, e-mailing it to the address: K. Valdemara iela 2A, Riga, LV 1050.
