In Latvia, the fulfilment of the requirements set out in the ECB Draft Regulation on Pension Funds Statistics is ensured by current Financial and Capital Market Commission's Regulations No. 69 "Regulations on the Preparation of Reporting for Private Pension Funds" of 2 May 2007 and Regulations No. 125 "Regulations on the Preparation of Reports on the Management of State-funded Pension Scheme Assets" of 14 September 2007. Latvijas Banka has no plans to develop new regulations to ensure compliance with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on Pension Funds Statistics.
Public consultation on the draft European Central Bank regulation on statistical reporting requirements for pension funds

The European Central Bank has launched a public consultation on the ECB Draft Regulation on Pension Funds Statistics. For this purpose, the European Central Bank has set up a dedicated website which offers all interested parties an opportunity to get acquainted with an English version of the Draft Regulation on Pension Funds Statistics, the explanatory notes, summary note of the euro area merits and costs procedure and frequently asked questions, as well as to submit comments and proposals for the improvement of the Draft Regulation.
