Obverse
 The small coat of arms of the Republic of Latvia, encircled by the inscription LATVIJAS REPUBLIKA • 1992 or 2008 (Republic of Latvia 1992 or 2008), is placed in the centre.

Reverse
 The numeral 10 is centered on the coin. The inscription SANTIMU, arranged in a semicircle, is beneath the numeral 10. Above the numeral, five arcs join two diamond-shaped suns which are located on either side of the numeral 10.
