Account Opening
Article 12 of the Law "On the Bank of Latvia" stipulates that for the purpose of fulfilling its tasks, the Bank of Latvia shall be entitled to open accounts for the government of Latvia, credit institutions, international institutions, the participants of the European System of Central Banks and other financial market participants.
